Frequently asked questions
Where are my photos stored?
On your device, in app-private storage. They never leave the device unless you explicitly share or back them up.
I got a new phone — how do I move my data?
On the old phone: Settings → Backup → Export backup. Save the resulting zip to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or any cloud folder.
On the new phone: install JobPax, complete onboarding, then Settings → Backup → Restore from backup, pick the zip. All jobs, photos, and signatures restore in place.
I lost my phone. Can I get my data back?
Only if you exported a backup before. JobPax has no cloud, so we have nothing to restore from. We strongly recommend turning on the monthly backup reminder in Settings → Backup.
I had Pro on my old phone — how do I get it on the new one?
Make sure the new device is signed in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with, then tap "Restore purchases" — it's on the welcome screen when you first open the app, and always available under Settings → JobPax Pro. Your subscription or lifetime purchase reattaches automatically. (Your data moves separately, via backup export/restore — see the question above.)
How do I cancel a Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by JobPax: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → JobPax Pro → Cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and your data is never affected. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I opt out of crash reports and analytics?
Settings → About → "Help improve JobPax". Both crash reporting and anonymous analytics are off by default; if you ever turned them on, this is where you turn them off.
Can I delete my data from your servers?
We don't have servers with your data. We do not have a backend. If you opted into crash reports or analytics and want any anonymous data tied to your device identifier deleted, email us with your device identifier (Settings → About → Diagnostic info) and we'll honour the request.
Will my PDFs work in WhatsApp / email / Files?
Yes. Reports are exported as standard PDF files via the OS share sheet, with embedded fonts and standard A4 / Letter sizing. They open in Adobe Acrobat, Apple Preview, Google Drive, Microsoft Word, and every PDF reader we know of.
I think I found a bug.
Use the email above (or Settings → About → Send feedback inside the app) with your device info, the steps to reproduce, and a screenshot. If you have crash reports turned on, please mention the rough time the crash happened — that helps us match it to a trace.
